Classes - YES, even during Covid!

I enjoy teaching art to all, no matter their age or skill level, from young children through older adults. I've taught at the Desert Botanical Gardens, Tucson Botanical Gardens, Scottsdale Artists' School, ASU's Herberger Young Scholars Academy, the Boys and Girls Club, the Hermosa Inn, and privately.

Nothing inspires me more than the Sonoran desert - the plants, the birds, the animals, the colors - and I love to share this with my students.

​

I work and teach in oils, watercolor, pen & ink, colored pencil, and even calligraphy.

​

I am also an avid art journalist, particularly of my travels, and enjoy teaching this as well. Take a look at my blog for my most recent entries.

By now we've all gotten used to interacting online on platforms like Zoom and in these past few months I have learned that YES you can teach art to remote students!
